decoupage trays

You can never have too many trays..to keep and to give as gifts. Here are some tray ideas you might  like. For the black and white chicken print tray, I reduced the black and white chicken print to fit the tray. I photo-copied the black and white checked fabric I had left over from doing my office. Used it along with different borders to design the tray. This is my favorite..it's sassy

The wine tray was painted white on the inside.. the outside painted black. The edges were painted in a silver metallic paint. The border and toile grape wine makers print  were sprayed with spray shellac before I cut them out.
The Country French Tray. I photo-copied fabric I purchased in St. Remey Provence. The boy playing the flute is from my Country French Prints, I painted the outside and edges of the tray to match the red in the fabric.

Hi, You do such wonderful work. I love each pattern, color and design. And of course the craftsmanship is superb! Later in the week I am going to post a simple decoupage treatment I did on my dining room ceiling I would be honored if you have the time to stop by and see it.(-:

These are great. I found some tin trays at Goodwill, and put them back. Do you think this would work on the tin? They are flat, so no sides like your beautiful trays.
thanks!

Hello Vonda,
I popped over via Karen Valentine's blog... I love your decorative designs. It's great you are teaching classes as well. I hope to do that when I hang up my homeschooling hat in a few years! Everything has it's season right? :)
I'm a decorative artist too and I would love for you to stop by my blog sometime to see some of my furniture makeovers! Click on Creative Recycling Tab, and in my side bar... Painted Lady Decorative Arts and Dandelion Workshop... those will feature most of my pieces!

Dandelion Wishes,
Deb
